FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTIONFOREWORDDelta Model 28-682 is an 18" Wood Cutting Band Saw. This machine has speeds of 2300 and 3250 SFPM (surface feetper minute). UNPACKING AND CLEANINGCarefully unpack the machine and all loose items fromthe shipping container(s). Remove the protective coatingfrom all unpainted surfaces. This coating may be removedwith a soft cloth moistened with kerosene. (Do not useacetone, gasoline or lacquer thinner for this purpose.)
